Melrose Drive Link Meeting
What ever name you know this project by, it’s been resurrected by the Oceanside City Council.
The plan is to connect Melrose, from Santa Fe through the south end of Guajome County Park to Spur Avenue. This ineffective link is environmentally unsound. Wetlands and endangered species habitat will be destroyed. The City’s value engineered conceptual plan is the least environmentally sensitive option. Noise levels will be unavoidably raised and the pastoral landscape will be devastated. Guajome Park will be surrounded by roads and the wildlife corridor will be affected.
Join us on February 16 at 10:30 am at the Mission Branch Library in Oceanside to get information of organized efforts to stop this project.
