Spring is definitely here at San Dieguito. The ducks are largely gone, and breeding birds, like stilts and avocets, are busy raising young. The blackbirds, marsh wrens, common yellowthroats, and other cattail nesters should be on full display. Directions: From I-5, take Via de la Valle east; go right on San Andres Dr. to end of road.
