We start along the Buena Vista Lagoon, visit Maxton Brown Park, travel to the ocean and the weir, and return to the Nature Center along Coast Hwy. Easy 1.5 miles.

Location: Buena Vista Nature Center, 2202 S. Coast Hwy, Oceanside. Meet in the Nature Center parking lot. Restroom available after 10 a.m. at the Nature Center.
