Join us for fun and educational activities at this years Endangered Species day!!! Families of all ages are welcomed to attend this free event at the nature center.  Activities range from dissecting owl pellets, viewing small organisms in the lagoon water, creating nature journals and learning about threatened local or endangered flora and fauna.

Special guests this year will be Paa’illa Basket Weavers, with the opportunity to make a Cherokee single wall twine basket. This is event is possible through the sponsorship of BVAS and Preserve Calavera.
