Silvia Slemmer has been the owner of Wild Birds Unlimited in Carlsbad, CA for over 15 years. She has been a backyard bird enthusiast for over 35 years. This presentation goes over many backyard birds you will see in your yard if you serve the right food. We have colorful birds in San Diego County including the Hooded Oriole, Black-headed Grosbeak, hummingbirds, and Western Bluebirds. The audience will leave with the ability to quickly know what birds eat by looking at their beaks and their migration patterns and to know what is needed to create a backyard refuge.
