This is near-peak season for the irregular Craveri’s Murrelet. Storm-petrels should be one of the highlights of the trip, with good chances for Black, Least, Ashy, Townsend’s, and two subspecies of Leach’s Storm-Petrel. Also a great time of year for scarce Red-billed Tropicbird, Buller’s Shearwater, South Polar Skua, and Long-tailed Jaeger, as well as for southbound Sabine’s Gulls and Arctic Terns. Migrant landbirds around the boat are also a possibility
